The Goldman
Environmental Prize is the world's largest prize
honoring grassroots
environmentalists.
Founded in
1990 by Richard and Rhoda Goldman, the Goldman Environmental Prize annually
awards US$150,000 to environmental heroes from each of the world's inhabited continental regions.

The Volvo Environment Prize is awarded for "Outstanding innovations
or scientific discoveries which in broad terms fall within the
environmental field".

Launched in 2006 to critical acclaim, The Green Awards
were set up to
recognise and reward creative work that communicates
the importance of
Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainable
development and the best ethical practices across any marketing disciplines.

The Zayed
Prize is the world’s most valuable environmental award.
It is established in 1999 by H.H. Sheikh Mohammad
Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister of the United
Arab Emirates, in recognition of philosophy, vision and
achievements of
the former President, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The Green Star Awards are established by
UNs Office for Coordination of
Humanitarian Affairs, United
Nations Environment Programme and Green Cross International, 2007.
