The mission of Aquaculture Certification Council (ACC) is to

certify aquaculture facilities that apply Best Aquaculture

Practices to ensure social and environmental responsibility, food

safety and traceability throughout the production chain.

ACC will also educate the aquaculture public regarding the benefits of the
Best Aquaculture Practices and the science based technology that directs them.

Established in 1993 as a response to concerns over global deforestation,

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is regarded as one of the most important

initiatives to promote responsible forest management worldwide.

FSC is the certification system that provides internationally recognized

standard setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services

to companies, organizations and communities interested in responsible forestry.
