World Day for Water, 22 March of Each Year

The United Nations General Assembly has designated 22 March
of each year as the World Water Day. This day has started in 1993,
according to recommendations of the UN Conference on Environment and
Development contained in the Chapter 18 (Fresh Water Resources) of Agenda 21.
