Friends of the Earth (FOE) is the world's
largest grassroots environmental
network, uniting 77 national member
groups and about 5,000 local
activist groups on every continent. With
over 2 million members and supporters
around the world, FOE campaigns on
today's most urgent environmental and social issues.

Earth Island Institute (EII) provides fiscal
sponsorship, technical
assistance and peer relationships to environmental activists looking for
an organizational home and institutional
leverage for their work.
EII's main goals are to strengthen the capacity of environment protection
projects and create synergy between environmental activists within similar topics.
