Under Vision 2050 project of the World Business Council for Sustainable
Development, Council's member companies have developed their
vision of the world
well on the way to sustainability by 2050, with
the pathway to that world required fundamental changes in the
governance structures,
economic frameworks, business and human
behavior. All these changes
are necessary and feasible with the tremendous
business opportunities for
companies that plan to turn sustainability into strategy.

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development is the
global association of some 200 companies dealing exclusively
with business and sustainable development. Council's mission
is to
provide business leadership as catalyst for change toward
sustainable
development, to support the business licenses to operate,
innovate
and grow in the world increasingly shaped by sustainable
development issues.
