The Zayed
Prize is the world’s most valuable environmental award.
It is established in 1999 by H.H. Sheikh Mohammad
Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister of the United
Arab Emirates, in recognition of philosophy, vision and
achievements of
the former President, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

meet the needs of the
present without compromising future generations. |
The Green Star Awards are established by
UNs Office for Coordination of
Humanitarian Affairs, United
Nations Environment Programme and Green Cross International, 2007.
